This
painting is from a photo that a friend gave me from her trip to England. I
really liked the contrasts that I accomplished in the painting. I used
Wallis sanded paper as the ground and a mix of soft pastels. This painting is
matted and framed, ready for hanging in a 12” x 12” frame.

This little
painting is of a little grove of aspen on the road toward Mt. Evans, Colorado.
The aspens have a root system that sends up “shoots” to make new trees. These
are probably all connected by the same root system…family, so to speak!
I used
Wallis sanded paper as the ground and a mix of soft pastels.
All
paintings are either framed, or matted and framed. If you would like
pictures of
the finished product, I can send those if you are interested in a
purchase. If
you wish to do your own matting/framing, the painting can be sent with a
protective sheet between foam core or other protective boards. The
shipping
costs would be less to mail in this fashion.

“colors” and it was pure ‘eye-candy’ up in the mountains.
