I used Wallis sanded paper as the ground and a mix of soft pastels.

This is taken from a scene near Louisville, CO. I painted this a few months ago and wasn’t happy with the lighter values in the painting. I have gone back in and lightened up the painting and it works much better now. I hope you like it!

This painting is from a photo that a friend gave me from her trip to England. I really liked the contrasts that I accomplished in the painting. I used Wallis sanded paper as the ground and a mix of soft pastels. This painting is matted and framed, ready for hanging in a 12” x 12” frame.
