"Flash of Sunlight" 13 x 16 Original Pastel Painting by Colorado Artist Margretta S. Perry

“Flash of Sunlight”

 13” x 16”
Original Pastel Painting by Colorado Artist Margretta S. Perry

SOLD

I used Wallis sanded paper as the ground and a mix of soft pastels. This is a lovely, rich piece that looks wonderful on the wall. It really catches your eye!

This painting is matted and framed in a silver, gilt frame, ready for hanging. Although, if purchased matted but unframed, the shipping would be less. It will fit in a standard-sized frame if you choose a matted painting.

Scroll down or click on various pages to the right to see more of my paintings. I will accept landscape commissions if you have a favorite scene.

“Take a Stand” 5 “x 7 ” Original Pastel Painting by Colorado Artist Margretta S. Perry

PRIVATE COLLECTION

This little painting is of a little grove of aspen on the road toward Mt. Evans, Colorado. The aspens have a root system that sends up “shoots” to make new trees. These are probably all connected by the same root system…family, so to speak!
I used Wallis sanded paper as the ground and a mix of soft pastels.

All paintings are either framed, or matted and framed. If you would like pictures of the finished product, I can send those if you are interested in a purchase. If you wish to do your own matting/framing, the painting can be sent with a protective sheet between foam core or other protective boards. The shipping costs would be less to mail in this fashion.
