This little painting would look lovely in a small space that needs a pick-me-up! It is a desert landscape with an aloe vera flower stalk in the foreground and the ocean in the background. It reminds me of our annual trips to Cabo San Lucas!

Mystic River is a place directly from my imagination. This is a place that I thought would be nice to visit. I wanted a glowing sunset picture with lots of trees, mountains in the background, water and rocks in the foreground—all the things I love. I hope you like it as much as I do.

The Rocky Mountains have enough vistas to keep us painting for the rest of our lives! What gorgeous country! I love the cloud shadows and the interesting patterns they make on the countryside. There is always a variety of colors and textures…I could go on and on… Needless to say, I am in love with this country! I try to take my viewers on a little trip through the painting to experience the landscapes we so often take for granted. Enjoy!!

This painting was selected to appear in the North Metro Art Association annual "Colorado Visions" Show at Westminster City Hall. It is always a pleasure to be in this wonderful art show.

This is a wonderful glimpse into the Rocky Mountain National Park. If you haven’t visited, put it on your bucket list. There is one scene after another which will take your breath away! I struggled with the title for this painting, but I had to find a title that would really give the space meaning.  Thanks to all of those who made suggestions on my Facebook page. I think “Sacred Space” wraps a lot of your suggestions into one. This will be entered into the National Greeley Show next month—keep your fingers crossed that it is selected to be in the show.
