This painting was so much fun to do! I love the flowing water and rocks, the variety of colors in the water bouncing off the bottom, off submerged rocks, and splashing over and around the rocks. I hope you like it, too.

These are spectacular sandstone cliffs outside of Scottsbluff and Gering, Nebraska. This area is a protected park and a lovely stop while going through western Nebraska. The Oregon Trails Days celebration each July in Gering is filled with activities: art show and sale, quilt exhibit and sales, old-time parade, great food, and lots of other activities for the whole family.
